I always take the six house into account. If you listen to those Saturn retrograde horoscopes, you know. But I was like, okay, I fully expect some health issues. And the twelfth house is like, if you don't play with the energy, it could be a forced isolation, a forced bed rest. And so when Saturn moved into Aries, I was like, Steph, go get your blood work, go get your dentist checkup, go get your pap smear, go get all those things. And so I did. And what's very interesting is that all the routine, which should be in and out checkups that I've gone to lately, I've always found a hidden problem that I had no idea, no symptoms, no clue was there. Well, I haven't been to the dentist in like two or three years. It's been a while. But now that we're getting established, things are going all right at the land, I'm like, I'm gonna go to the dentist. I'm due for a checkup. I can see a little plaque on my teeth. I want to go get it picked off. Now, let me give you some context for this. I have never had a cavity in my entire 37 great years on earth. I have never had anything wrong. In fact, one time when I was 21, 22, I went to the dentist routine checkup again. Got my x-rays done. The dentist said, You don't have your wisdom teeth out. I said, No, I don't. No pain, no problem. They haven't broke through the gums. Don't need it. Neither did my brother. But, anyways, long story short, he said, You had a tumor on your x-ray that's very close to the nerve that rules the motion and control of your face. So you need to go get your wisdom teeth out. I freaked out, like, oh my gosh, this is crazy. Went ahead and got the surgery, got three wisdom teeth removed until they got to the fourth one where the quote-unquote tumor was, and they didn't want to touch it because it was too close to that nerve that controls all the movement of your face, and they didn't want to mess with that. But when they went in there and looked around, it was just an air pocket. It was my anatomy. So I had the surgery for absolutely no reason. And I have one little wisdom tooth sitting in there. So whenever I go for a dental checkup in a new office, they're like, uh, why do you only have one wisdom tooth? So, anyway, I went to the dentist and I fully expected them to be like, girl, you need to clean your black off. Like, you need to go to the dentist more. Yeah, I get it. When you travel and then your personal health preferences, yada, yada, yada. Well, the dentist comes in and he's awesome. The whole crew there, the hygienist, the dentist, they were all so fun. Like, truly one of the best offices I've been to. And they were like, All right, so you gotta book your filling. I said, excuse me, what? I've never had a cavity in my filling. I don't even know what a filling is. I truly don't. I've obviously I've heard of it in passing. A root canal and a filling. But they were like, Yeah, tooth number 15's got some dark shading on it. I'm like, I have no pain. There's no hole. But when I look in the mirror, there's no dark colors or things on my tooth. What are you talking about? And so they showed me on the 3D image they took, like, you have shadow. And I don't know, I guess when they touch it with some explorer tool, they could feel tackiness, which means there's a cavity. And I was like, What? They're like, Yeah, it'll be no big deal. You just come in, get a shot, get the filling put in. Or I was like, oh my god, I have no pain. What are you talking about? And they're like, that's actually the best time to find this, so you can go get it removed. Oh my gosh. And so here I am the last few days watching YouTube shorts on how to do a filling. They're actually kind of satisfying to watch. But I hate needles. I have developed such a fear of needles in my 30s. Used to be no problem at all. I mean, I was that kiddo, like from 12 to 18, that was like, give me a shot. I don't care. But with so many bad experiences, just not a fan of it. You know what's weird though is one time I had blood work done at home. Yeah, it felt very luxurious. Someone, a nurse, came to our house and took my blood, and I was like, this is easy peasy lemon squeezy. This was amazing. So if anybody knows a traveling dentist in Austin that would like to come to the astrology lounge and do my filling in here, that would be great. It's almost like I get anxiety when I'm in the actual office. So if you guys have any words of wisdom on how to get through a very minor cavity filling, I would really appreciate that. And of course, my sixth house stallion was like, what are you filling my tooth with? What is gonna have to marinate in my mouth? Luckily, they're gonna use a tooth-colored resin, but I'm still like, yeah, but what's it made out of? I literally asked them to send me a picture of the ingredients list of we. You have to advocate for yourself though, you know? So happy August to me. I'll be going in next Wednesday to get that done, but I'm happy for it. And I share that experience because honestly, if I didn't look at my own astrology, I would have put it off because we pay cash. I don't have health insurance, so it's not as cheap as it would be without it. So, you know, the cost, the time, the pain. My doors rising be like, it can wait, it can wait until it can't, and I can't chew food, and then it's too late and even more expensive, you know? And so I just want to share that because I'm using my own transits in real life, feet on the ground, head in the stars. I saw this and I was like, pouty, no, fine, I'll go to the doctor's, get this stuff checked out. And it's benefited me greatly. A lot of the things that I have found at routine checkups could have been very serious had I not found them. But I f I've been finding things right in the nick of time at very early stages where it's super simple. The boop, boop, you're good. So it's really cool to utilize astrology in that way. And I just wanted to share that with you guys. So, hi everyone, welcome to another episode of the Astrology Lounge. I'm your host and astrologer, Stephanie Powers. Me and the Pugs here are gonna go over the astrology of August 2026. Welcome. Eclipse season. Guys, the last time we had eclipses was back in February. Remember, we had the new moon eclipse in Aquarius on February 17th. And then what was it? March, where's my calendar? March 3rd. I knew it. We have the total eclipse in Virgo. Well, it's eclipse season again. On August 12th, we'll have a Leo eclipse. Be sure to check out those episodes right before this to know what area of life it may be hitting for you. And then we'll wrap it up with a full moon eclipse on August 27th in Pisces. Pisces, you're not off the hook yet. So you guys know what to do. Visit the website astrology-lounge.com or check out the show notes for merchandise, moon playlists, astrology, flashcards for studying and memorization. We've got lots of goodies in those show notes packed for you. All right, August 1st and 2nd. So as you guys listen to this, it is August 3rd because I felt the pressure to release it on Friday, July 31st. But I was like, you know, the first couple of days of August are pretty quiet. And I feel like a lot of people are having moon hangovers. I don't know what is this full moon was fun, but it was weird. Like this week was very, I don't know about your guys' experience, but it was very revealing. Here on the ranch, so it was ironic. Sunday night, our reverse osmosis water machine shit the bed. It broke, would not work. We rely on that. We need that. We we live in a place with such hard water here in central Texas that we have to like strictly filter water. That is our source right there. It shit the bed. It broke, it would not pump water. And I was like, oh my gosh, we don't have like emergency water bottles. So we had to run to AGB, go get a bunch of water, stuff our trunk, come back. Luckily, Aqua True, the machine we have, was so awesome and sent us all these new reverse osmosis things to descale and clean our machine. But they're like, it'll be five to ten business days before it arrives. Excuse me. So whatever. We got that on its way. We got a lot of shout-out to Mountain Valley Spring bottled water. But then yesterday, our water line got cut. Well, before that, let's reverse. On Wednesday, the power went out. And when you live in a fifth-wheel all-aluminum motor home and the power goes out, so you don't have an air conditioner. Do you know how fast that thing heats up? Oh my gosh. And then here in the astrology lounge studio, it's this like portable tiny house. So, and I don't have blinds because you guys know how I am with windows. So the sun is just and it's all windows in the front, so it's just essentially a greenhouse when the air conditioner's not on. Oh my gosh, that was dangerous. That was scary. And the power was out for about two hours. Within the first 30 minutes, our fifth wheel got up to 83 degrees. By one hour, it was at like 94 degrees. I was like, okay, yep, we can't be doing this, not even with portable fans. And so we had to go sit in my Tesla and just wait, I guess, for them to turn the power back on. But I was so nervous for my neighbors, I thought I should ride my bike and check on everyone. I know neighbors that are disabled, that are elderly, that have pets. And I'm like, this is scary stuff. And so then yesterday, around noon, the water goes out. The water's not working. I'm like, what is going on? And as I record this on Friday morning, we still don't have water. And so, yes, this was actually to our advantage. We have a clean water tank in our fifth-wheel motorhome. Luckily, Mr. Virgo is a planner and an organizer, so he had that filled up just in case of an emergency like this. So we've been running things off of that, like had to take 60-second showers because those tanks aren't big. And when you have to do dishes and fill water bowls and shower, it's like you really, you really see how important water is and how easy it is to take utilities for granted. It's been a very, very weird week. I don't know, just sharing that. Maybe you guys have had some wild, wacky collective experiences. Of course, through my astrologer lens, I was like, this is so Aquarious. Uh, me and the neighbors coming out and going, how can we make sure we band together? And if someone needs to sit in an air-conditioned vehicle, come here. And wow, we all need water. What is going on? What do we do with that water? Who needs water bottles? We have some rationing stuff. It's definitely been a wild week. A wild week for sure. So August 1st and 2nd, I called it a full moon hangover. We're settling into Leo season. The dust is settling from that Aquarius full moon that involved the sun conjunct Jupiter and the moon conjunct Pluto. So August 1st and 2nd, by the time you guys listen to this, it's already over. But I hope this past weekend you had, you gave yourself time to process any breakthroughs, endings, or emotional revelations from last week's powerful Aquarius full moon. So now that leads us to August 3rd, the day you guys are listening to this. Chiron goes retrograde. So if you guys remember back in June, Chiron, the wounded healer, the boo-boo of the sky, the boo-boo that turns into your greatest purpose. Rumi said, the wound is where the light comes in, yeah. Chiron goes retrograde, making his way back to Aries. Chiron sat at zero degrees Taurus pretty much all summer long. What did you learn? Chiron going retrograde, moving back into Aries eventually. During this time frame, just revisit the last couple of months' lessons around self-worth, stability, security, finances, your relationship with your body, material items, and how much you value yourself. Maybe since where's my Chiron poster? Here she is. Chiron in Taurus. June 19th. Okay. So June 19th until right now. What have you learned about money? What have you learned about your physical body? What have you learned about your senses? What do you need to feel safe and secure? What sounds, what smells, what taste? Have you thought about monetizing your natural talents? Have you spent money on things you don't need? Have you been saving up money to purchase something you really need? This is what Chiron Retrograde is going to ask us to do. And remember, September 17th, it will dip its toes back into Aries before it permanently moves into Taurus April 14th. You know, collectively, I can see this time frame. So next week, or as you listen to this, sorry, I'm having a hard time like saying, okay, I'm recording this on a Friday, but you're listening to this on a Monday. The theme of the data centers, the AI data centers, where it's like, hey, water, noise, sound. How many times in human history have people complained or protested about the sound of something? I always thought I was alone in that feeling. Like, how do people live near a busy highway? How do people live somewhere where there's sirens going off all the time? Shout out to all my New York City and Los Angeles listeners. Whenever I do readings with you guys, I can hear the sirens in the background. And to you guys, it's just birds chirping on a tree. I'm like, are you okay? Like that is loud. My goodness. This is so Chiron and Taurus, the wound of I need nature. I'm craving stability, silence, grounding. August 6th, a few days later, Venus values love, finances too, moves into her home sign, Libra. So when Venus enters Libra for a few weeks, relationships, harmony in all connections, and learning how to compromise takes center stage. So this, when Venus moves into Libra, we're craving balance, balancing our checkbook, balancing how much money we make versus how much time and energy we put out. Of course, if you are in a romantic relationship or a marriage, this puts it center stage when Venus enters Libra. But Venus loves being at home in Libra. So this is a beautiful placement to have Miss Venus. I like this for the next few weeks. August 9th, so a few days after that, Mercury moves into Leo. Now, Mercury is normally traveling with the sun. I, you know, this is to me, it's not necessarily a transit I heavily focus on because I think Mercury and Venus, they they travel with the sun, right? And so a lot of people will find, unless they were burnt born during a retrograde, that Venus and Mercury will normally be the same sign or the sign next to or in front of their sun sign. But Mercury, the planet of how I think, how I communicate and process information, enters Leo. Now this is kind of a this is kind of a dramatic switch because if you remember, Mercury went retrograde in cancer. So it's been in cancer for much longer than it normally stays in a sign. So this is kind of a refreshing energy. We're leaving the depths of emotions, feelings, and we're moving into, okay, I want to express myself. Could there be some drama? Yeah, sure. Some drama in the collective for sure. But conversations could become bolder, ideas become more creative. Mercury and Leo encourages us to speak from our heart with confidence and authenticity, to be a leader in the way you write, think, speak, and teach. You know, I always associate maybe it's my Scorpio placements, but listening without responding, just silently taking in what someone says and letting an awkward silence just drag really helps people process things and say what they actually think. So that's the other side of this coin is be a leader and listening with this placement. Um, okay, now the next day I have here is August 11th. So a couple of days after that, August 11th. This is the eve of entering the eclipse portal. This is a spicy day because there's so many planets playing with each other to the degree on this day that I was like, oh whoa, this is quite the uh preparation for entering the two-week wormhole of eclipse season. So here we go. Mars enters cancer. Big deal because Mars spends six to eight weeks in a sign. So when it switches signs, it's very important. Cancer risings, this is in a very, this is a very important transit for you. Mars is moving into your first house. Please wear your seatbelt and put on a helmet. Uh, Cancer Moons with Mars going over your moon. If you have repressed anger, watch out. If you have been waiting for the right time to make an emotional move, this could be it. Cancer Sun, I love Mars going over your sun. Just again, wear a helmet, make sure your seatbelt is on, but um, don't take any huge risks. But this could be getting strength and vitality and energy back in your personality. So I like this for you guys. But for all of us, Mars enters cancer, and our motivation shifts from chasing external success, like when it was in Gemini, to protecting the people, places, home, emotional security that matters most to us. At the same time, Mercury will be opposite Pluto. So Mercury is currently in Leo as we speak, or as you get to this day, August 11th, and it's opposing Pluto in Aquarius. So this can bring powerful conversations, sometimes hidden truths can come to the surface with this, and a deep desire to just dig beneath the surface of every situation. So Mercury opposite Pluto collectively. This would be August 11th, which is a what day is that? I think it's like a Monday. It's a Tuesday. Something about that day is potent. Could be something that comes out on the internet, something that is spoken, a message that is reached. I don't know. But that's not it. Mercury, at the same time in Leo, will be a trine. Neptune. Now, a trine is a pillar of support, it's supporting Neptune's energy. Neptune's energy is supporting Mercury. So this softens the edges of the opposition to Pluto. This makes it easier to trust your gut, your intuition, dream bigger, and see beyond logic. So it's almost like on that day something is exposed, but then your gut feeling speaks volumes about whatever may be exposed. Right? It's like if there's something you've been trying to find the answer to, very much might be revealed that day. But it gives me the flavor of don't ask for a sign, then ignore it. It gives the flavor of, hey, I can't explain this coincidence, but even though it might not make logical sense, it makes spiritual sense, and I'm following it. And then, oh, get out of here, bug. Venus will be trying Uranus on that same day. Venus, love values, trying support, Uranus, sudden change, innovation, rebellion. This brings exciting surprises, adding a layer to this, exciting surprises with love, Venus, friendships, your finances, maybe even creativity, because Venus and Libra is very aesthetic and creative. But this could encourage you to welcome the unexpected that may come from the Mercury trying Neptune, Mercury opposite Pluto, and Mars entering Cancer to just bring this back home on that same day. Is I have the energy and the fight, Mars, to go after a feeling, Cancer. It all started with a feeling. Do you guys remember that from the intro? I'm always wondering do people understand the potency of that phrase? It all started with a feeling. Everything you see, stop, look around at everything. Everything you're looking at started with a feeling. I'm looking around at everything in the office. Like, oh, I just got a new plant holder from Amazon. Well, someone had a feeling of I need to make money, so I need to sell things on Amazon. Like it's a feeling. So I don't know. I like August 11th. I'm looking forward to it. I'm like brewing it on. I would pay very close attention if you want to dive into what this surprise or weird thing exposed could be for you. I would look at where cancer rolls in your chart. Leo, of course, Aquarius, and Aries and Libra. I know that's like half of your chart. But I would look at that. Where are those people sitting? That's the area of life that will likely see a sprout that you didn't expect to come through the dirt. Okay, August 12th, put a star on it. I have one right here highlighted in pink. This is eclipse day, and eclipses work in two-week portals. I look at them as black hole wormholes. We enter in with the new moon eclipse and we exit with the full moon eclipse. Whew! These are strange windows. I remember last, so the last time we had an eclipse in autumn slash late summer was when Charlie Kirk was assassinated, and we all had to see that on the internet. I remember he was assassinated on like the day after we entered the eclipse, and then his big memorial that people still play quotes from was the full moon exiting the eclipse portal. And it was that was a weird time. And then February 17th to March 3rd was the other eclipse portal. Whenever I read your guys' charts, you guys always have these crazy stories from that time frame. I love it because it makes me look so psychic when I'm like, what was going on February 17th? And you're like, God, astrology's cool. How'd you know that? It's just, it's just data. And in my astrology lens, I see that there was a Cat 5 hurricane for everyone. And well, I don't know, did it take down your house or your garage? What did it do for you? That's how astrology works. But August 12th, total solar eclipse at 20 degrees, Leo. If you have any placements around that, this is your time to shine. This marks a destined new beginning. Now remember, Jupiter's hanging out with this, so there's a blessing. Should you work with this and release, because it is a self-known eclipse, invites you to step into more fun, a more courageous version of yourself, a more confident, bold version of yourself that is ready to pursue what lights up your heart. If life is gonna be life, and we will always have to get our cavities filled and get shots in our mouth and go to the live and do things every day that are fun to remind me that, okay, let me just get this done so that I can carry on and enjoy life. This is the August 12th eclipse. I wrote down in my notes here that it's like something new around this time frame or during the eclipse portal may push out something unaligned. So something new around this date may push out something unaligned, like a dead leaf from autumn that somehow survived the winter, getting naturally pushed off by the new green bud of spring. That is the energy I sensed with the entry into eclipse season. Now, August 11th and 12th look pretty hot. And so from that date until August 17th, so almost a week later, is when we have our next hot day. So it's almost like August 12th to August 17th. We are processing anything that came up or happened around those two days. August 17th, we have Mars squaring Neptune, Mercury trining Saturn, and Venus sextiling Jupiter. Let's break this down. Mars, how I take action on things, aggression, square, inner friction to Neptune, dreams, intuition, and Aries. So Mars and Cancer, squaring Neptune and Aries, can blur our motivation. So avoid forcing outcomes and instead let your intuition guide what your next move might be. Now, Mercury, the planet of thinking, speaking, forming a trine, support to Saturn and Aries, Mercury and Leo, two fire signs. This can bring clarity, focus, and more practical thinking, making it an excellent time to plan, organize, or make important decisions. So you see how that really supports the Mars square, Neptune, Mars and Cancer. I don't know. I I want to chase this feeling, but Neptune and Aries square is am I being disillusioned? Am I going to regret this later? Mercury trying Saturn is there's no such thing as the wrong decision. There's just a decision that you make and you stick with and you make it right. And then Venus, Sextile, a blessed opportunity, should you choose to open the door. Jupiter and Leo, Venus and Libra, that is a sexy combination. Venus Sextile Jupiter brings a wave of joy, abundance, and opportunity, making this a beautiful day for love, creativity, generosity, meaningful friendships and connections. So to blend those two together, it's a day, August 17th, where we're like, okay, I really want to accept this proposal. I really want to make this change. I really want to announce something. I'm nervous. What if it's the wrong thing? What if I'm being disillusioned? But Venus sextiling Jupiter and Libra and in Leo says that the heart wins this day, for sure. Now, August 22nd, a few days later, happy birthday, Virgos. The sun enters Virgo, and we begin the season of back to school. We begin the season of that was a fun uh summer. Now I want to get my diet back in track. I want to stop drinking alcohol. I want to get things organized. You know, it's always so nice to go on vacation and have a break, but then eventually you get to a point where you're like, I want to go home and do my laundry. I want to go home and meal prep again. I miss my routine at home. That's Virgo season. We're coming home to being of service to ourselves, in our home, to our loved ones. The focus shifts from Leo themes to encouraging us to create healthier habits, to go to the dentist and get our blood work done, to simplify our life and pay attention to the little things that ultimately make a huge difference in your life. Now, a couple of days later, Mercury leaves Leo and says, Wait, son, hold up. I want to come with you. I don't want to stay, Leo. It's too hot in here. There's so much petty drama. I want to go. It's too much. I want to go home. The party was a blast, but I'm sweaty and I'm dirty and I want to go shower and get into my comfortable clothes. Mercury enters its home sign of Virgo. I like this time frame until Venus moves into Scorpio a little later. But that last week of August is delicious because it's Virgo season. Who doesn't love that? Mercury is in its home sign of Virgo. Venus is in her home sign in Libra. That's a very comfortable sky. Everyone's at home. They're relaxing. They're comfortable. So when Mercury enters Virgo, our minds become sharper, communication more practical. It's easier to organize, problem solve, and make a plan for turning our ideas into action, getting organized. August 27th, we wrap up the month with wrapping up the eclipse portal. This is a big full moon lunar eclipse at four degrees Pisces. To all my Pisces suns, Pisces risings, beautiful Pisces moons, to all my people listening who are having their nodal return with the North Node and Pisces. This is your last hoorah. This is a beautiful day. This is wrapping up something very Piscean, a dream, an illusion, an artistic creative project, a long-term dream you never thought would come true. I really like this day. And of course, please subscribe and come right back because there's so much more to these eclipses. I'm just giving you the baseline. But August 27th, eclipse in Pisces. We closed the door to the August 2026 eclipse season. And not only that, we closed the door to all the eclipses of 2026. We won't see them again until 2027. Let me verify myself, yeah. That's a wrap on eclipses of 2026. And so this is very much a graduation day energy, if you will. So, guys, happy birthday, continued birthday to all of our wonderful Leos out there. My favorite thing about you guys is your cheerleading abilities for your friends, for those you love. I adore Leo energy. And Virgos, happy almost birthday to you. I know you're over there like, oh, don't make a big deal out of it. You know, I'm so used to being observed. I'll make my own cake. It's fine. No. Virgos, we're gonna make sure you have your cake and eat it too. And we clean up after as well. So, guys, enjoy the astrology of August. Happy August. I'm always here if you need me.
