Happy 250th birthday, America. The birth chart of the United States. I think they put the United States birth chart by the Declaration of Independence, which I would debate. Because I am a very firm like Native Americans were here first. When did they get here? When did they make this land their own? You know, so this is this is totally up for debate. But July 4th, 1776, at 4 50 p.m. was the sun in cancer, moon in Aquarius, Sagittarius ascendant. Okay, we we can work with that. We can say that that's the quote-unquote weather that the United States was born underneath, which I would interpret as the core identity of America is cancer. It is to understand the power of emotions. What negative emotions can do and what positive emotions can do. But of course, this is family, land, home. Whose home is this? Whose house are you walking into and colonizing? We're going way back here. But the Sun and Cancer, the theme of America would be this land is your land, this land is my land. And then the moon in Aquarius is, of course, the diversity, the wildness of our country. We are such a melting pot of culture and diversity in most places. It's pretty cool. And, you know, as someone who has lived in a motorhome all over this country, from every corner to the northeast, south, and west, it's nothing like what the news and social media makes it out to be. We have so many cool people. And I have thrown myself, I'm not just a little white girl staying where it's safe. No, no, no. We have gone to places that probably shouldn't have been in and still talk to locals. We've lived in Airbnbs. Every time I book an Airbnb, the host is like, wow, 112 reviews. Nice. I'm like, yeah, kind of live here. So I've stayed in amazing Airbnbs. I've stayed in Airbnbs that were in a bad part of town, and I had to leave and not get a refund. That should be its own podcast episode. But the Aquarius moon of the United States, I think, is so fitting. We're weird. We're different. We accept everybody most of the time. We're innovative. We celebrate autonomy. We are very, don't take my freedom or my guns. That is an Aquarius thing, which is I'm a rebel and I love it. I love pushing the envelope. And then the Sagittarius rising is we got to get our beliefs right. We have to voice our beliefs. I think we're so in that and not be divided by them, but use them to see the bigger picture and expand and constantly evolve to a higher plane. So Sagittarius. So that's what I'll say about that. Happy 4th of July to my fellow Americans. Did you guys hear the Mars Uranus conjunction? Spicy, just innovative stuff on a personal level. Maybe life feels different. Maybe you're making little micro or macro changes that make that's making your reality different. And maybe it's all about socialization with people you haven't before, having a conversation that is well overdue because it is in Gemini. I know a lot of people were talking about it's erratic energy, and I'm I'm still kind of holding on to the what's going on in the news. What's it what's going on? Now I'm starting to see as I record this on July 5th, maybe it's an undercurrent. Maybe it's conversations happening behind the scenes that we'll future will see the manifestation of. I know Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey got married. That's a pretty cool. Listen, I'm a Swifty. I love her. I like her old music more, but I think she's so incredibly talented. I admire everything she's done from getting her masters back to hiding Easter eggs and the way she treats her fans. I've just I've listened to her since I was 16. Her and I are roughly the same age. She's my Sagittarius sister, Taylor. I just think she's so cool. I've never seen her in concert. That's terrible. Before I die, I really want to see her live. Oh my gosh. Putting that out there. But um, she's talented, she's so smart, she's so savvy, and to maintain the stability she projects while dealing with the fame and Hollywood energy is fascinating to me. Now it's rumored that she's a Sagittarius with a cancer moon and a Scorpio rising. When you pull up her birth chart, I see that her moon is at one degree cancer. I'm like, I don't know. That's totally a cuss because the way she pumps out songs and writes her own melodies and rhythms and lyrics, I'm like, that is so Gemini. Huh? But um, a lot of people were saying, why would she get married on the day she did? I think it was perfect. I can see why some astrologers would say, Yuko, who would get married under a who would want their wedding birth chart to be a conjunction between Mars and Uranus? You know, astrology, using it to plan an event is fun. But even though I do this day in and day out, it's my obsession and my passion, and I experience it daily, I still wouldn't use it to pick a wedding date or a date. I feel like that that gives a little too much power to it. What I would do is if I had to pick a wedding date, I would go with my gut. I would look at a calendar, I would look at venues, I would take all the earthly stuff, right? And then I would just go with my gut and be like, ooh, that's the weekend, that's the date. I'd probably use some numerology in there, but I would I would say that that just feels, right? And then I might look at the astrology of that day and make a decision like, ooh, don't really care for the moon being in Aquarius. Depends. But I think astrology is fun and it doesn't, you don't give it so much power and weight to scare you if you do it that way. Just a personal preference. I'd like to just go with my vibes and my gut first and then use this as an alternative tool for confirmation or validation. But I loved their wedding date. I thought it was cool. Sure, Mars, planet of action, anger, courage was conjunct Uranus, planet of rebellion, innovation, doing things weird. But come on, they got married inside of Madison Square Garden Stadium, downtown New York City, which is so to me, Mars and Uranus. It's like Mars. We are fighting back against the paparazzi by completely preventing anybody from flying a helicopter over our day, throwing something in, yelling something, protesting. I thought I thought it was absolutely genius. I love it. So I think that's a cool signature to have. It's like breaking free from old patterns. And I know Taylor has vocalized that she didn't think she would find anyone to marry her or be with her because of how difficult, quote unquote, difficult her life is with the fame and all that stuff. And so I think that this is a beautiful signature to have. We're doing things different. We're working with the cards we were dealt with our life and our passion, and we're gonna make it ours and try to do things weird and wild. I love it. The sun was in cancer right on both of their Jupiters in illumination of a very big celebration. Jupiter in the sky had just moved into Leo. Of course, we get like one of the biggest celebrity weddings when Jupiter moves into Leo. I can't wait to hear the rest of the celebrity news for the uh remainder of this transit. Um, what else was going on on her track? Oh, the moon was shifting from Aquarius into Pisces on the evening of their wedding, but the moon was illuminating both of their north nodes of fate. And then right after the wedding, like into the wee hours of the night of celebrations, the moon switched into Pisces conjunct to the north node in the sky right now. So I don't know. I thought it was beautiful. I think it's a great chart. I wish them well, always. Um, marriage is a whole new game, and I think everybody deserves a good shot at a lifelong partnership, no matter the astrology. So I thought it was beautiful. What's cool too is on Taylor's progressed chart. So the natal chart is the seed, the progress chart is how that seed is growing. It's like an internal transit, right? We could say Jupiter's in your first house, you feeling big and bold, yeah. But then you could hit them with the your progressed moon is in Virgo. What's going on with your health? How did you know that? That's the progress chart. Her progressed moon is at 29 degrees Libra on her wedding date. What does that mean? For the last two and a half years or 29 months, this is that late critical degree, she's been progressing through Libra themes, relationships, engagement, wedding planning. I think that this progressed moon chapter started when she separated from Joe Alwyn, and of course, goes into meeting someone, getting engaged, and at the tail end, the final degree, like literally in a week and a half, she's entering this brand new two and a half year era of progressed moon in Scorpio, which is huge transformation. Um, if children are something she wants, I can totally see it happening when this progresses progressed moon is in Scorpio. Because for someone as career-driven and independent as her, going through getting pregnant and having a baby and your identity shifting is probably one of the biggest transformations for a character like her. So I can see that. Um, shared resources obviously coming up, prenup, very big deal when you have that level of wealth. But I think it's cool. I think it's amazing. I can picture her giving birth if that's something she wants. Um, in about let me count the degrees here. 18 months is about a year and a half. Within a year and a half. So probably by the end of Jupiter's transit through Leo, because her announcing she's pregnant will be like the most viral moment ever in celebrity culture, right? I can see that. So, isn't that fascinating? The next two and a half years, she's definitely gonna transform her identity and her character as we know it. It's really cool. So that just thanks, Taylor, for letting us look at your soul's blueprint. Um, that's just how you utilize these things to understand and give validation. You know, like even if you don't know astrology, you're gonna feel these things, you're gonna go through them again. But sometimes it's just kind of nice to have that knowing of oh, this transformation into motherhood is more difficult than I thought. Let me check on what's my internal progressions. Oh, I'm learning Scorpio energy. Okay, Scorpio hat on. Let's go, let's do this. I don't know. That's how I feel it. My progress moon's currently at Aries. Ooh, ooh, ooh, get out of my way. F you. I like it so far. I'm finally getting back into a workout routine. I'm feeling bold, I'm feeling strong. I like it. It's vibing with me. I didn't care for my uh two and a half year progression through Pisces. I gained some weight, I was tired, didn't feel motivated, felt a little lost there. I stopped posting on social media like Instagram, which was a huge disillusion dissolving of an identity and taking a risk that I did not see. And it turned out very well, but it wasn't my favorite. I really liked a progressed moon through Aquarius. That's when I got into astrology heavily. Yeah, that's my favorite tool in astrology is the progressed moon. Sabian symbols. Ooh, that even sounds mystical, doesn't it? The Sabian symbols in astrology, it's it's the mystical side of it. You know, I love what's our motto around here? Say it with me. Feet on the ground, head in the stars. I love to make sure we don't get too untethered and drift away and float away and give some beautiful power all of our attention and forget that we are the powerhouse in control of this. We are God, we are the universe, you know. And so I I didn't dip too too much into Sabian symbols because it is more mysticism, intuitive, psychic abilities rather than the science, which is astrology, in my opinion. It is a true measurable pattern recognition science. Sabian symbols, what are they? The story behind them is fascinating. If I could give an analogy for what Sabian symbols are, they are little stories for each astrology degree. So you guys know the astrology wheel is zero degrees Aries all the way to 29 degrees Pisces. Each one of the 12 zodiac signs has approximately 29 degrees. And so that's about 360 degrees of stories. So 360 small one to two sentence quote unquote stories, vibes, energy, or visions for each one of the degrees. A good analogy is imagining the zodiac, we don't like a neighborhood. If the zodiac is one enormous neighborhood and there's 12 streets, 12 blocks, right? There's Aries Road, Taurus Street, Libra Avenue, Virgo Avenue, there's one for each sign. Well, there could be 29 houses on each street. Virgo Avenue has 29 different houses. Well, if we go in house number one, it's got some plants, it's got a good aesthetic. Cool, I like this place. And then we go in house number two, and it's got the blinds closed, it's messy, it's dirty, there's all these things unorganized, the floors are a mess. Yeah, it's a Virgo house, surprisingly. And then we go in house number three, and we're like, dang, these people are rich. Look at those things are expensive. Oh gosh. And then we go in house number four, and we feel like we have to donate some food because their pantry is so empty. Each house, you guys know this, each house that we go into when we meet friends and family and neighbors, so different. Think of living in an apartment complex. You're in the same building, same exact layout, same exact square footage, but each apartment has a completely different decoration, different vibe, different energy. That is Sabian symbols. Each, even if someone has a shared Virgo sun, one of them have a five-degree Virgo sun, the other one has a 27 degrees Virgo sun, each one has a different personality. So, in the simplest term, Sabian symbols are 360 tiny symbolic stories. One story for every degree of the zodiac. Sure, your Venus is at 18 degrees Taurus, but what's the story connected to 18 Taurus? It's almost like opening a fortune cookie. Okay, three Libra sons sat at a table. They each get a different fortune cookie. They're the same, they're all born in the same constellation, but their fortunes are going to be different. Or, because we have a lot of tarot readers and oracle readers here, it is like 360 tarot cards, and each degree pulls a different card. Each degree has an image that's simply meant to spark insight. Now, here's the cool part that is the history of Sabian symbols. Because where who decides this? Who decides that the symbol is a groundhog waiting for its shadow? That's mine, that's my Sagittarius son. Um, who decided that? Well, the story is really cool. Uh, I am reading this and getting my information from sabian.org slash sabian underscore symbols, f yi. So the sabian symbols were developed by a man named Mark Edmund Jones, who was a well-renowned astrologer in the early 1920s. So Mark met a woman named Elsie Wheeler, who was a brilliant and imaginative person, but was very crippled with arthritis and bound to a wheelchair. She couldn't turn her head and can barely hold her hands up. So it was a serious being wheelchair bound. Now imagine being in a wheelchair and you you're totally reliant on yourself and other well, other people. And what must go through your mind when you can't move the body? I don't know about you guys, but when I'm feeling an emotion or having a difficult conversation, I want to move my body. You know, if something goes on in the house that's so scary, I want to get up and go for a walk. I want to garden, I want to move. I can't imagine where the mind goes when it is bound to a bed or a chair or something. Mark thought this was her superpower because the story goes, he was going to work with another renowned psychic medium, but he thought, well, she's a she's able-bodied. She's able to go around and do whatever she wants. She's got a lot of experience that may be held as a bias towards these images. I want someone who has been bound to a chair, unable to really get out there and explore and see different things because her bias is limited, which I thought was kind of a genius way of looking at it. What's interesting is Elsie, Miss Elsie Wheeler, was used to be scared of anything psychic, but within a year become one of Mark's students. Mark used to teach spirituality, astrology, psychic gifts. She joined a spiritualist church and started making a really good living as a medium because of how accurate she was. I think the quote was Mark saw that she was handicapped and very limited in general world experience, but viewed that limitation as something that would really assist her in setting 360 unique images for each one of the degrees. The story of how they did it is fascinating to me. So they decided to go to a park in downtown San Diego. Let me find the exact park. I know we have a lot of Southern California listeners. I'm very curious if it still exists and if you guys go there. Balboa Park. B-A-L-B-O-A, Balboa Park in San Diego. So Mark was certain of how the work had to be done, this says, and one full swoop. Um he wanted to find a place where the conditions would be okay for Elsie in her wheelchair, and he wanted to make sure that there would be little interruptions, but of course, outside. So they chose Balboa Park and they sat there, found a quiet spot where they wouldn't attract much attention, so they could totally just lock in and picture these, uh hold up each degree. So Mark had 360 white unlined three by five index cards, and he wrote one of the astrological degrees on each one of the cards. It's unclear to me. I mean, maybe you guys know it's unclear to me though, if he wrote like one degree Aries, three degrees Aries. He must have, because you wouldn't just write 68, 69, those don't exist. So he must have. So what he would do is he would hold up, he would shuffle them. So they were not in order. Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, grab one, hold it, and she says, okay, 14 degrees Sagittarius. And then Elsie would just tap into it and say what she saw. Rand, she would report what she saw by inward vision, is the direct quote. And then Mark would hurriedly write it down, the brief description on each card. As soon as she described it, they cut it into like three different sessions because, of course, it took hours and a full day. But Mark later described it as the cards reflecting the simple few words in which Elsie Wheeler described the picture that she saw in the fleeting seconds that she had to describe it. And he wrote them down. It's really cool. I think that that is so cool. I'm sitting here like, oh, I want to sit with someone. I'll be the mark. I'll find someone very psychic and I'll hold up the degrees and be like, what do you see? What do you see? It'd be interesting if they were similar to what Elsie saw back in, I believe it was 1923 to 25. Yeah, 1925, some unrecorded date. So that's it. That's literally how the Sabian symbols came to be about.

Um the Sabian symbols are a fascinating, powerful, useful set of images for the astrologer and non-astrologer alike, according to them. Again, it just it add it sparks insight, right? Uh Mark himself described it as the Sabian symbols are a fact and they may be examined or employed by anybody who wishes. Right? So they've entered the realm of common reality and become subject to the universal logic of man's mind, is what he said. I think it's pretty cool. Some people will say, not doesn't vibe with me. Other people, The cosmic curious, if you're like me. I love this stuff. I have since I was little. I love the people who are like, come to the back room, let me show you my crystals. Let me show you this alien egg I found. When I was growing up, my mom told me this is really putting her Aquarius on display. Sorry, mom. She told me that I hatched out of an egg, like a dinosaur egg, behind Walmart, and she found me. And I was so proud. I was like, that's right. I dropped from the Lady Spaceship as an egg, an alien egg, and hatch. Why Walmart? Because listen, we grew up in small town Midwest, don't we? And I was like, yeah, no, that resonates, Mom. That is, yep. I that's definitely my source. But I love this stuff. And so I think it's cool. So with that said, we're gonna go through every single 300. I'm just kidding. No, we're not going through them. Google them. There's so many cool websites. Again, I was using sabian.org, sabian symbols.org. I love it, but I mean, gosh, we're in the age of technology and AI. Use Chat GPT, claude plod blah. There's so many AIs, I can't even keep up with it, but I wanted to read my Sabian symbols for you guys, since you kind of know me here. We're friends here. Again, as I do this, they're not scientifically proven. I believe they were called Sabian, not because they came from the ancient civilization of Sabian. Um, he admired the ancient Sabians who had a historical reputation for studying astronomy, astrology, philosophy, and symbolic wisdom. So that is where the history of the name Sabian symbols comes from. And again, can they be scientifically proven? No. They are not something science can prove. But they're a symbolic language like mythology or dream interpretation, right? They're like dream interpretation. So sometimes you'll pull a Sabian symbol on your chart and do it for your whole chart. Do it for your Mars, your Venus, your ascendant, your descendant, your IC, your midheaven. It's fascinating. Some of them are oddly specific and almost eerie to how they might match your lived experience. Others you'll be like, this makes no sense. And maybe it's because it just flat out doesn't, or maybe it's because you haven't yet experienced the side of it. You so it's like poetry. A poem doesn't tell you exactly what to think, neither does a song. It just invites you to discover your own meaning and what you feel about it. There you go. That is Sabian symbols. And my why around why I use Sabian symbols, I don't use them in readings. Let me be very clear. I'm not gonna pull these up for our readings. I think this is something that people should do on their own or just get a Sabian symbols-based reading because my goodness, it would be information overload if you did like a full birth chart reading and then added the symbols.

I just think that no two charts are ever created the same. And when I was in astrology school, I continuously raised my hand and asked, How do you explain identical twins who have the same exact birth chart yet completely different lived experiences? There you go. There's a little nuance to it. One of the most beautiful things about Sabian symbols is simply that they remind us no two birth charts are ever exactly alike. And when it comes to twins, if you're sitting over there like, well, how does this, wouldn't twins have the same Sabian symbols? Sometimes you'd be surprised how much one to two minutes of mom pushing out the next twin can make in a birth chart. But if they happen to literally come out at the same time, nature versus nurture, left versus right, empowered versus disempowered, on every birth chart and on multiple moments, a day, a week, a month, a year, you get a decision to make an empowered choice or a disempowered choice. It's such a nuanced web, you know? Well, two twins each go through a heartbreak. One of them may be like, mmm, my Aries moon is fucking shit up. Like I'm pissed. The other may be like, mmm, well, my Aries moon, I'm gonna understand the lesson of independence and how to make it on my own, how to feel pain but continue fighting for myself and focusing on independence. You know, it just it's so nuanced, which is why it can be totally different. By the way, I was previously married to a twin. And so my the beginning studies of astrology, I had twin charts to look at and the difference between them and the similarities. So it was perfect for studying. Okay, since you guys know me, I just want to read the Sabian symbols from my big three: my Sagittarius Sun, my Scorpio moon, my tour is rising. I thought it was so cool. Ha, and Sabian symbols, as you guys go to research them, you'll notice that they use a slightly different numbering system than astrologers typically do. This one tripped me up a little bit, not gonna lie. I still kind of don't understand it. But my son is at 14 degrees Sagittarius. How you would read the Sabian symbol is 15 degree Sagittarius. And that's because the first symbol covers everything from zero degrees zero seconds to zero degrees 59 seconds, the second covers one degree and so on. So my symbols are this my son, 15 degrees Sagittarius, Sabian symbol. The groundhog looking for its shadow. When I first saw that, I was like, wait, what? So I'm a groundhog? Am I how I interpreted that before I dove into the symbolism behind it was am I here to learn the lesson of patience and waiting and waiting just six more weeks for something I really want? Huh? Everyone knows the story of Groundhog Day. A groundhog comes up in February and tells us tells us if it's six weeks to spring or or if spring has here or if there's six more weeks of winter before spring, right? So a groundhog pops up and says, Is it safe? Is it time? What what season's coming next? So it is. It's kind of a layer onto my Sagittarius sun that says, My soul came here to trust timing, to trust in the unseen. This is so Sagittarius, seeking the truth, having patience and timing. Not everything is meant to happen immediately. I can't control everything. Sometimes life asks me to pause, observe like a groundhog, read the signs, and trust that there is a right season for everything, right? As a sag, I have this natural excitement to just keep charging towards the next thing. And we won't get into my Scorpio moon's level of control, but this symbol says my greatest wisdom comes from knowing when to leap. And I fully, when I look at it from that vantage point, I'm like, oh yeah, that is definitely a timing lesson for me. I I was married and engaged, I was engaged at 21 or 22, married at 24. Oh my god. The older I get, the more uh astoundingly confused I am that I did that. But I did that because of time. Because I looked around and everyone else and I was like, well, this is just what you do. I got caught in the vortex of society's timeline without realizing, wait, I can have all of this when I'm 30, which is much more appropriate for me. I should have traveled, I should have been a DJ, I should, but I jumped right to it without understanding that there's a season, and that was just simply not the season for marriage. So when Jupiter got to my seventh house, instead of getting married to my lifelong partner, I got divorced. It expanded my truth. And so that that's you know, that's why uh my current partner and I are together six years and still haven't married. I just, I'm like, there's a season for everything. We've constantly been in the season of building, building land, home, family. That's and so I'm like, eh, not the season for that yet. Whereas old me would say, oh my god, you have to get married before you everyone has to have the same name. Like, nah, there's seasons. I trust in that. Oh, it's it's also why I am 37 years old and don't have children. Um, I mean, I've been lightly trying, but instead of forcing it, I've just been in the well, it's not the right season yet. I'm in this season. I also use my uh progress chart for that. Definitely, definitely a lesson because I still have days where I'm like, oh my god, I'm so old. I missed my shot. Wow. Waited a little too long for that groundhog season. But I I loved that. It was very comforting to me because I'm I'm finding truth and meaning and patience and not looking at everybody else's season, thinking that that's where I should be. Greatest lesson. Oh, it gives me the warm tinglies. My moon is at 16 degrees Scorpio. Conjunct my 16 degree Venus and Scorpio. I'm a lover. But so you would add a degree. So I'd be reading the Sabian symbol for 17 degrees Scorpio. Get this one. A woman fecundate fecundated. Am I saying that right? Fecundated? Don't laugh at me. Fecundated by her own spirit. That word means pregnant. I had to Google it because I can't even pronounce it, so I did not know what it meant. But a woman pregnant by her own spirit. I was like, whoa, that's wild. Yeah, it was so mystical. So that image in Sabian symbols isn't really about physical pregnancy, it's about becoming pregnant with your own purpose. It's the idea that something inside of you becomes so alive, kicking, that it eventually has to be born into the world. In everyday language, this could be translated as my emotional world is incredibly fertile. When I love, I love deeply. When I'm inspired, I'm consumed by it. Can you tell by how many times I put podcast episodes down and I never have advertisements because I'm like, ew no, don't taint my inspiration, my passion project. Get yo out of here. When I dream, those dreams can eventually become reality if I learn to trust the seasons of life by my son. Sometimes it's a child, sometimes it's a business, sometimes it's a book. So for someone with a Scorpio moon, my greatest transformations begin quietly deep within, long before the rest of the world can actually see them. How beautiful does that blend with the Sabian symbol of my son? Right? It's really cool. I felt so validated in this, and I love that image. Pregnated, impregnated by my own spirit. I've always thought of this. Now my rising sign is 20 degrees Taurus, Taurus, and so we add one degree, making it the Sabian symbol for 21 degrees Taurus. A finger pointing to a line in an open book. Where are my OGs at? How many of you here know that my dream is to write a novel that turns into a movie? Imagine opening a book, and someone gently places their finger on one exact sentence, and then they look at you, and out of the whole book they say, read this. That is powerful. And so my Taurus ascendant could be saying, Hey, use your Taurean grounding, practical knowledge, earthy knowledge to help people find meaning, point them toward the lesson they most need here. That is really cool. I loved that one. And then I thought, a finger pointing to a line in an open book. That would be so cool if in my novel I wrote a one line or one sentence that stuck with people and just stood the test of time and stayed with. I don't know. I loved it. I was like, yes, yes, yes, I love this. I have my books all, you know, my It's Just a Phase Boon Journal, my thyroid first aid kit book, proudly behind me. Whenever my bonus boys come into my office, you know, they're always like, a million downloads, because I have a framed plaque of my first a million, and they're like, it's so cool. But for me, the one thing that makes me feel so good to share with the younger generation is my book. Sure, they're probably not big on the physical copies of books, but I'm like, look, that's me. That's my name. That's your book. I'm like, yeah, I wrote that. I worked really hard, and people buy it and they learn from it, and it just feels so, so good. I always think that that's one of the best parts of being a parent is sharing things like that to inspire kiddos to go after what they want, their purpose and their passion in life. I often think about the type of parent I'll be. If I'm blessed to be one and full-time raise a kiddo, I'll never, I mean, of course I'll worry about money and making sure they have food and shelter and clothing, you know. But I want to be at a point where I have accomplishments that they can see visibly and that I just hope that it inspires them to go after what their heart wants. Because I think personally the best part of life is being able to live out your purpose. I do what I absolutely love for a living, and I never take it for granted because I've done what I couldn't stand for a living, and that's that's tough. That is a really, really tough place to be to have to work somewhere or spend your days doing something you can't find meaning or purpose in day in and day out. And that I just I would never want that for my kiddo. And it doesn't matter what they do, as long as they can find some sort of purpose behind it. I think that's really important. So I guess that's my long-winded example of my Taurus rising. But guys, there's the Sabian symbols. That's all I've got. I think that's pretty cool. I like my big three. What are yours? So, you know, when we put all three of my Sabian symbols together, because I wrote it down here. My son says, trust divine timing. Everything blooms in its proper season. My moon says, create something meaningful from the depths of your soul. And my rising says, help people discover their own meaning, their own lesson through trusting divine timing, creating something meaningful from the depths of your Scorpio pool. And help people discover grounding purpose. You know, Taurus is a sign. We don't really speak on this too much. Like second house, Taurus, it's the sign of our natural talents. Things we're born with that were like, yeah, I'm kind of good at this. I don't know, just came naturally to me. And then, of course, there's other things where, you know, playing an instrument, you may be like, oh, I was not good at the piano at all. I just touched the keys, but through multiple lessons and practice, I became really good. There's two things like that, right? But Taurus is our natural interest, our natural talents. Sometimes it's hidden talents because how many of us have something we love as a kid, and then we're like, you can't make money doing that. Pains me when people say, Oh, you want to be an artist? Have you considered law school? Have you considered like I think law school is an expression of art as well, by the way. But you know, it's it's the it's the typical, the stereotypical feeling of can I make money doing something I love? For whatever reason, we got to a place, capitalism got a little tainted there where we thought we couldn't. And I guess I might be on a mission to help people convince people, yes, you can. What are you talking about? And it doesn't matter what it is. I think if you can find purpose behind anything, you know, before I had, I don't know if I talked about it enough, but I should. So I worked at Cygna Healthcare, a health insurance company. Am I supposed to say their name? Can I get in trouble? Whatever. Health insurance is going bye-bye with Uranus and Gemini. That's my prediction. I worked there, it was great. I love the people I work with. I still talked to some of them. Had a okay salary for a uh freshly graduated college student, but wonderful benefits, PTO, blah, blah, blah. Worked from home. I have worked from home since I was 25 years old. I had never, yeah, well, I have one time, but I don't have that like commute. We laugh that my commute is a walk over to the astrology lounge across the property. Like, I've got my coffee, go to my commute, got the pugs walking behind me. But um I worked there until I was from like 21 to 26. And then I quit because you guys, if you guys don't know, I asked for a sign, got the sign immediately, said, okay, I gotta keep my end of the bargain universe. This is terrifying. I went home and I quit. Out of the blue, out of nowhere. I was a top performer, shocked my manager, but I said I quit. And um, I'll never forget after his questioning of why, what, ah no. He was like, I was kind of hoping you would. You you gotta take your talent somewhere else, your way just there, you have so many talent, you gotta go expand yourself. I'm like, wow, thank you. I appreciate that. But um, I actually worked at a smoothie shop, a holistic supplement shop downtown Charleston, South Carolina, right in the Mount Pleasant area, making minimum wage. I think I made $10 an hour, and I would sell holistic supplements to people. I would make smoothies all day, acles, turmeric shots, you know, $10 an hour. And so I made next to nothing. Definitely could not support myself living in Charleston on that. But um, I loved it. And I didn't I didn't care about the money. I was so excited to go to work every day and open that shop, close that shop. I loved making smoothies tailored to someone's taste. I thought it was so fun. But um, I utilize it, I found so much purpose in it, even though I'd have to bleach and clean out blenders at the end of the day, mop the floors, do a lot of stuff like that. I loved it. I found so much pride and purpose. And I utilized the networking that was gifted to me from working and being in that environment to get holistic health coach clients. And so if someone would come in and say, I'm struggling with hypothyroid, I'd be like, Well, try this supplement, try that aloe juice, I'll make you a smoothie. And also, do you want to work with me one-on-one? I have a holistic health coach consultation if you want to work. And they were like, What? Yes. And so, yeah, I made $10 an hour, but I utilized that time and that opportunity to find clients to come see me and work with them one-on-one. So financially, I made it work. And when I quit that job, I had no clue what I was gonna do. I just started to go towards what felt good. I in, you know, I was working Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5, sometimes 6 p.m., just to work overtime, make more money. And when I eliminated that obligation, I freed up so much space at my table of life that on a random Tuesday, woke up at 8 a.m. instead of hopping online at 8 a.m. And I was like, what do I want to do today? What would what would feel good to me? And I was like, you know what? I'm gonna drive to the beach and just journal. Just journal for an hour my dreams, because I've never had the time to just sit and do that. It was always working for somebody else's dream, making someone else's money. I'm gonna go do that. And on my drive to that beach, I saw a yoga festival outdoor. It was early spring, so the weather was perfect. Outdoor yoga fest, and I was like, scarpoley, that is exactly what I want to spend 10 a.m. on a Tuesday morning doing. Right there. Hopefully, they've got extra mats. And so I rocked up, did some yoga with people, and there were tables and you know, uh vendors there, and one of them happened to be a really cool Sagittarius girl who owned or was opening the smoothie shop, and she was like, Oh my god, I'm looking for people. Do you want to come work for me? And I was like, Yes, absolutely. I'm trying to get my holistic health coach practice off the ground. Just graduated from IAN or about to, and she was like, This is perfect, I would love some help. And so it was just boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, all I do there. And then, you know, while I was working there, I met the girl who designed the cover for Thyroid First Aid Kit, and she did such a good job, Rebecca. She's so talented at drawing, which is so I love the cover. Google it, Thyroid First Aid Kit by Stephanie Powers. I think the cover, the little uh red cross, don't sue me, but with the blue butterfly represent the throat chakra, blue, and the butterfly shaped like a thyroid. Ooh, symbolism. I got some Sabian symbols on my book cover and didn't even know it. But um, it's beautiful, and now it kind of breaks my heart to process this out loud, knowing that AI can go create that, which I love for the business standpoint because it can make things very easy. But like the process of creating that cover with Rebecca took months, you know, and it was very expensive, but it was so worth it, worth every dollar. But it took months because she did this for a living, she was an artist for a living, and so you know, I had to get in the queue and then she. Designed that we went back back and forth a couple times figuring it out, and then we got the right one. And I was like, Ooh, that's the one. So much pride and sense of accomplishment. But now I could go on any AI platform and say, create a thyroid-based book cover with the Red Cross and the blue butterfly. And then we come up with that, like done. And it was free, you know? And so I don't know how I feel about AI. I wanna, I don't want to swing one way or the other. I want to remain curious and open-minded to the benefits it could bring. Similar to social media, I still think it's such a cool tool. If someone's dog goes missing in the neighborhood and you want to locate them, I think it's amazing. But then I see all the downfalls, which is people are dying with more memories of other people's vacations rather than going outside and vacationing on your own. And I'm like, that is we're we're watching people die without their physical body dying. That's sad. I don't know. And then I gaslight myself and think, is this just is this what every generation does? Oh, those kids' music's gonna poison their mind. I'm like, I'm pretty sure I was listening to some gnarly lyrics when I was young. But I don't know. There's something different about this one. It's fun to talk with my fellow 80s, 90s babies and be like, yeah, isn't it crazy? Kids uh they just want to hang out with their parents all the time, or they just want to be on YouTube all the time. Like, I didn't see my mom all day. Sun came up, me and my friends grabbed popsicles, ran outside, hopped the fence into the clubhouse pool area, the apartments we lived in, started swimming, got in trouble and got kicked out, ran out screaming with our towels, jumped on our bikes, ran into the woods, found a pond, started grabbing turtles and collecting them. Friend got bit, laughed hard, ran away, ran into this other tree, found a giant uh yellow jacket bees nest. Friend threw a rock at it. They all came out and chased us. Like, we were just vibing. Literally, like, I don't remember ever saying I'm bored. I would only get bored when it was raining outside and we were stuck indoors. I was like, oh, I can't look at National Geographic pictures on a magazine, so let me outside. I want to go find the animals on my own. Yeah. And then today I just look at kiddos and like this is wild, this is all they know. I don't know. I I reflect on like what kind of parent will I be? Just shield them from it or all like you can't do that. Like, this is just the day and age, but also I don't know. That is just weird. It's very weird. I would love to hear your guys' thoughts. I I often wish you were here to discuss this with me because I know a lot of you are awesome parents out there. Some of you got a lot of kids, some of you only got one. What I love about our sessions is you guys get this moment where you're like, Yeah, my birth chart says that I shouldn't have kids, definitely shouldn't have. Or my birth chart says I really want kids and I haven't had them yet. And we discuss and we go through it. It's it's so cool. I love it. It's the best drama ever.
